For our SCS WLG challenge we were suppose to use a technique on glossy cardstock. I really wanted to do the soot technique. Well, I tried it and though it did work I could not figure out how to get it so it didn't smudge. I tried spraying it with acrylic spray but that didn't work. I actually really liked how it turned out otherwise. So then I decided to try the shaving cream technique. I thought what a good way to get my son involved. So he picked out the colors to use and we headed to the kitchen. We must have used way too much blue because as you can tell in my final card, you can't see any of the other colors (pink and coral). He had so much fun dropping the ink and stirring it up. We both have ink stained fingers this morning! But overall, I think the card came out pretty good and I got to spend a bit of "fun" time with my son!

Very pretty, great job! It's so neat to see Jodus helping you. :)
so pretty! never done that technique before, I bet my 5yo son would love it too.
this is fun to do with your kids, your card turned out great! *~*
April on my card it's actually not meshy stuff, it's the pattern paper design.
Lovely! It is always a treat to be able to involve the littlies in what we do.
It may have been more in the stirring up of the colours, that everything merged in to the one dominant one.
At a pinch, Kristin....if you are thinking of trying this tech....you can use food dye.
What a great idea! I need to get my kids involved too (: Love your card!
Very pretty!
