Some major stamp organization

When I first started to purchase other stamps other than SU! I realized that not all of them are mounted on wood. Stamping Bellas being my very first NON-SU! purchase. I needed to come up with a way to store them. I decided to just put them in baggies and hang them off of a ring...well...two years later and a HUGE collection of un-mounted stamps later that just wasn't working for me. I tried the CD cases...didn't like that idea..too small for me. So FINALLY SU! decided to start selling their stamps un-mounted and now have these great DVD cases to store them in. Of course I still prefer my SU!'s to be wood mounted but for my other un-mounted stamps this would be prefect.
I basically kept with the same formula I use for my SU! stamps....I stamp them out on paper, label each page with a number this one is number 4...write out the name of each stamp.....

Put them all together, punch a whole in them, put them on a ring and hang them....super super simple.
Here are my DVD cases...all of them are labeled with what is in them and their number which coordinates with the page they are stamped on for easy finding.
Look how many Bellas I was able to get in one case! I just love these! Nice, neat, organized, easy to find. Yay for me!

Softpencil~Michu and Michula

Happy Thursday to everyone! I felt so bad...I totally missed my softpencil post for last week, my wrist just wasn't up to the challenge...but my cast is off now and even though I have a bit of pain...I'm good to go!
Here is super cute Michu and Michula which you can purchase on the softpencil site...clink on the link on my sidebar.
Our challenge this week was to use rhinestones, eyelets or brads...I went with a brad...yes one single brad.
I decided to paper piece the heart and I love how that turned out.
I participated in Mojo Mondays sketch challenge 123...you could do the sketch as a circle or square...as you can tell..I went with the square shape!
Also participated in Fab n' Funky Challenges challenge 8 which was to use a digi image or sentiment...well...Michu and Michula is surely a digi image...a super cute one at that!

Winter 8x8 stamp it out!

Here is the other half of the swap I was in. I also did winter pages too. I love the idea of stamp it out...making one more use for those many many stamps we have!
These were fairly easy....blues, creams, and burgandy. And my stamps...I'm sure you can see the lovely bella and I used an SU! for the background snowflakes.
I did not color my images in because...well...with a cast on my right arm it's hard to color much of anything and doing it well is even harder so I thought it best to leave them as is and the owner could color if they wanted to.
BUT::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::THE CAST IS OFF AS OF TODAY!!!
AND::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Today is my 13 year wedding anniversary!!!
Two great things in one day!

Pirates...8x8 stamp it out swap

I am in a swap to "stamp it out". Most of the time we forget about our stamps when we are scrapbooking so this swap was for us to take advantage of our stamps. I used for this set my Changito Pirate set. I used just about every stamp from that set. I used some Martha Stewart ribbon, stickles, liquid pearls, cricut for the tags, and a corner rounder punch, SU! ink, and staz-on ink. Oh, and the paper is from DCWV stack.

Stamping Bella Leslie and Lorie LULU

I just LOVE this stamp...in fact I love this whole line from Stamping Bella. These two are the cutest gals ever.
You know...Valentines is all about LOVE and most of the time goes to the men in our lives but I like to think that it can also be for any of those in our lives that we love...especially our wonderful BFF's. So I'm dedicating this card to my BFF's...you know who you are!
Wow...I was able to get several challenges out of this one card...first the wonderful sketch...isn't it awesome...it's sketch Saturday you still have a few days to play along if you want! Then we have Tuesday Morning Sketches which was to use buttons and bows and then we have AIFactory challenge blog which was to make a Valentines card and use some sort of lace...it could be real lace, a lace punch, lacey ribbon...anything goes...so I pulled out my Martha Stewart edge punch and did some lace!

Softpencil Thursday...A lovely Couple

Wouldn't you agree? A lovely couple? That was this weeks image for softpencil..it's from the new Valentines images. They are toooo cute. This week I also participated in Mojo Monday's sketch challenge since our challenge for softpencil was to use our favorite sketch....well....it's my favorite sketch of the day!!! Also while I was at it...I played along with AIFactory challenge which was to emboss.
I did paper piecing on the girl because as you can tell...my coloring is just not up to par with my wrist in the cast so the least amount of coloring the better the card....I guess!!!

I am also doing this weeks tuesday morning sketches. A very cute and simple sketch this week...you don't have to have a lot going on and that is the kind of sketches I like!
I used all SU! paper for this card...even the DP. Of course the image is a digital image from softpencil, I used Stamping Bella donuts...love them, copics, stickles and that was it!

CCBGC #15 and Sketch Saturday #84

Our challenge for the Crafty Critters was to make a card using buttons and it needed to be a girls theme...like...as in....little girls. So as soon as I saw the sketch for Sketch Saturday I knew it would be perfect with our blog group challenge.
I used Leila always measures up from Stamping Bella...not only does she look adorable but they spelled Leila the same way I spell my daughters name so I just had to have her!
I used some random buttons, SU! ribbon, SU! cs, and a glittery brad. The DP is from a DCWV stack...I then colored with my copics.
Please don't be harsh on my coloring...I put the card together on Sunday and decided I would color it Monday after my doctors appointment...not knowing that they were going to decide I needed a cast on my arm instead of just the brace I was wearing which I was able to take off to do my coloring. Needless to say...coloring is a bit of a challenge with this stupid cast on.

Winner of the blog candy!

Remember I asked you in this post what was missing from my Christmas tree? Well for those of you that answered a tree topper you were right! I didn't have one last year either. Since these are new decorations I just couldn't find anything that matched my theme but next year we will hopefully be in the States so I can find something....I was thinking about a big ribbon bow. We'll see.

So anyway.....here is the Winner...from random.org is.......number 12....Jaspere....congrats!
Happy New Years everyone and I hope you all have a great day....don't eat too much pork and sauercrault (sp)...or is that just my husbands family that does that New Years day?
