Great Impressions~Get Well

Happy Saturday everyone! Yesterday was my day to post over at the Great Impressions blog. We have little challenges going on with the DT and the challenge was sentiment only. I thought this was going to be hard for me but I found a sentiment from GI ~Get Well Prayer that is pretty big so I didn't have to worry about how I was going to take up the rest of the space left on the card.

I used the cricut for this card and got really lucky with the sizing being pretty perfect to fit the sentiment and the card size!
It wouldn't be me without some glitter so I used my stickles on some of the leaves on the DP. I "think" this DP is from DCWV but I can't be sure because this is from my scrap pile. I have been doing reallllly good with going through my scraps before getting new paper out so I can use up some of my huge pile!

Winter Fashion Marlee

Hey everyone! How's it going? Things here are going pretty good. Although...I am sooooo "off" lately. I can't seem to keep anything straight including my dates! Ugh!
Today is my day over at the Inky Impressions Inspirational Blog to post so here is what I came up with.
I used Winter Fashion Marlee and decided to cut her out. I'm not great at cutting but I couldn't resist with this image...it just seemed "right". I then popped her up a bit with some pop dots. Not too much else too it. Nice and simple!

Great Impressions Friday

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a nice Friday! I am "suppose" to be getting ready to give my first Scentsy home party and I'm avoiding getting ready! I'm nervous. I haven't done this in a really long time! So instead I'm blogging!!!
Today is my day over at Great Impressions to post and I decided to use a silhouette image called Frolicking Trio. I don't use silhouette's much because I'm never sure "how" to use them besides to make them black so I remembered I had perfect pearls and got them out and this is what I came up with!

So basically to use the perfect pearls I just inked up my image with my versamark (as if I'm going to emboss) and then daubed the perfect pearls on the image. After that to "set" the powder I just sprayed some water in the air and wafted the image under it (don't you love my terms today...lol). This was my first time doing it and you can see some shadowing around the image that isn't suppose to be there but I don't think it looks too bad...almost like I meant to do it!

The flower is handmade and I also applied perfect pearls to it as well. See...I always have a way to get my sparkle on my cards!!!

Ice Skating Rachel

Good morning everyone! I am barely alive this morning so bare with me!! We just got home last night from a 5 day trip up to Pa. for a baby shower. It was surely worth the trip but that drive sucks even more each time we make it. But we did get really lucky and didn't hit any horrible traffic like we normally do.

Today a new challenge starts over at Inky Impressions! The challenge is to use punches or dies!
I used Ice Skating Rachel and you know...I have been digging into my scraps lately and all of this paper came from my huge pile!!

Angelicas Sled

Good morning! I am trying to play catch-up and work in advance because I am outta here on Friday!!! I am going up north to Pa. for my BFF/cousin-in-law's baby shower! This is a HUGE deal! She has been through a lot and I am just soooo thankful that Jodus' having days off school and Rodney being on his 5 day break all landed at the same time as her baby shower! So it's going to be a busy couple of days but totally worth it. And honestly...I am ready to escape. Some times you just get fed up of everything and need that break to get your bearings back.

Today I worked with an Inky Impressions image called Angelica Sled's. This was the image that had drawn me to Inky in the first place. She's sooo cute!

Great Impressions~I'm so sorry!

How is everyone's weekend going? Saturday was a kinda...blah day and today was spent cleaning...so basically another blah day...lol...but a clean blah day!!! I know it's superbowl Sunday but I don't do the whole football thing so cleaning and trying to keep the kids from killing each other is what is on my agenda today.

Here is a card I made for my Great Impressions DT Friday! We have been waiting patiently for the store to open and it's almost time! Once it's open we plan on doing all kinds of great things over there including challenges!! I'm really excited for the DT to get to really be busy promoting Great Impressions.
