Great Impressions Friday

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a nice Friday! I am "suppose" to be getting ready to give my first Scentsy home party and I'm avoiding getting ready! I'm nervous. I haven't done this in a really long time! So instead I'm blogging!!!
Today is my day over at Great Impressions to post and I decided to use a silhouette image called Frolicking Trio. I don't use silhouette's much because I'm never sure "how" to use them besides to make them black so I remembered I had perfect pearls and got them out and this is what I came up with!

So basically to use the perfect pearls I just inked up my image with my versamark (as if I'm going to emboss) and then daubed the perfect pearls on the image. After that to "set" the powder I just sprayed some water in the air and wafted the image under it (don't you love my terms today...lol). This was my first time doing it and you can see some shadowing around the image that isn't suppose to be there but I don't think it looks too bad...almost like I meant to do it!

The flower is handmade and I also applied perfect pearls to it as well. See...I always have a way to get my sparkle on my cards!!!

Ice Skating Rachel

Good morning everyone! I am barely alive this morning so bare with me!! We just got home last night from a 5 day trip up to Pa. for a baby shower. It was surely worth the trip but that drive sucks even more each time we make it. But we did get really lucky and didn't hit any horrible traffic like we normally do.

Today a new challenge starts over at Inky Impressions! The challenge is to use punches or dies!
I used Ice Skating Rachel and you know...I have been digging into my scraps lately and all of this paper came from my huge pile!!

Angelicas Sled

Good morning! I am trying to play catch-up and work in advance because I am outta here on Friday!!! I am going up north to Pa. for my BFF/cousin-in-law's baby shower! This is a HUGE deal! She has been through a lot and I am just soooo thankful that Jodus' having days off school and Rodney being on his 5 day break all landed at the same time as her baby shower! So it's going to be a busy couple of days but totally worth it. And honestly...I am ready to escape. Some times you just get fed up of everything and need that break to get your bearings back.

Today I worked with an Inky Impressions image called Angelica Sled's. This was the image that had drawn me to Inky in the first place. She's sooo cute!

How is everyone's weekend going? Saturday was a kinda...blah day and today was spent cleaning...so basically another blah day...lol...but a clean blah day!!! I know it's superbowl Sunday but I don't do the whole football thing so cleaning and trying to keep the kids from killing each other is what is on my agenda today.

Inky Impressions Inspiration Day!

Hey hey hey! I'm feeling pretty good today! Yes...I said I'm feeling pretty good today. Some days not so much...but today...yes!

Great Impresssions Friday!

 Hello everyone. I hope you all had a good week. My week was....okay I guess. Kinda up and down most of the week.

Pampered Chef Caddy revamp

 Hey! How is everyone doing? I thought I'd share with you a caddy I redid for my son's teacher! I wish I had taken a before picture but that's okay. She had this caddy for years...a teacher of her's gave it to her and the stickers on it (yes...it had stickers on it) were a little outdated and she wanted it to be redone! Soooooo........this is what I came up with!
She loves black and white (has zebra print in her room) she loves yellow and dots (has lot's of that going on in her room as well) so I combined them and came up with this!

Each side has a different word on it to represent what Jodus' teacher is...i.e. she's giving, caring and inspiring!

And this is her initials!

I cut the letters with my cricut and then of course added stickle dots to it!

Inky Impressions

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone's week is going well so far. I'm having a "I'm so tired" kinda week. Last night my DH was snoring soooo bad I came out to the couch to sleep and could still hear him...ugh!
This is my first post for the Inky Challenges and I'm horribly disappionted in it. I have to say that mamaw skiing gave me a heck of a time. I don't know if it was because it's out of my comfort zone or what but from the image all the way through the entire card I was just uhappy with it and the thing is...that was the 3rd time I colored her and it took me hours to come up with the card so it's not like I just threw the first thing together that I did. Ugh!
But here it is anyway!

Birthday Diva

It's Friday...it's Friday!!! I get to sleep in for 3 days (no school day Monday) woohooo!!! My son was out of school for 3 weeks on winter break and he just started back this week and let me tell you....I had the HARDEST time getting up this week. I got way to used to sleeping in and going to bed late.

Today is my day to post over at Great Impressions. I decided to work with Birthday Diva. She's a cute little thing huh?! I took this picture at the perfect time today, the sun was shining right in on the card....love living in N.C. where it's sunny more than gloomy (unlike Germany where you don't even know what "sun" is).

I paper pieced the presents up top...I thought it was a cute idea plus...coloring the ones on the bottom and top was a little much for me!

 

See...see...look at that...look how wonderfully glittery the flowers are! They are regular prima flowers that I added Ice Stickles too...have I ever told you I love things that sparkle???!!!!

Altered Notebook using TSB

 I told you I was going to getting about my posting. I have been so busy coloring, coloring and coloring some more lately. I'm sure my husband would like me to put that much effort into my cleaning...lol!
I made this altered notebook for my BFFs' daughter. It was suppose to be for her birthday...that didn't happen, so it was suppose to be for Christmas....that didn't happen either so it's a I love you Kayla gift...LOL! I hope she liked it...I think she liked it...she seemed like she liked it! I don't worry so much about my stuff if people are buying what is already made but when it comes to making thing specifically for someone....I get nervous that it's going to be what they really like.

First Inky Post!!!

Hello, hello, hello everyone! Happy Sunday! I told you all I had something awesome to share with you in my next post and here it is! After trying two times...I made it on the Inky Impressions DT!!! Woohoo...go me..go me!!

This is what drew me to Inky like a year ago when I first applied for the DT! It's Angelica Sled...isn't she the cutest sassiest thing? I think so!
